2008-07-20 11:19:09: Just over 10 minutes now to the start of the men's relay.
2008-07-20 11:18:13: And 5th place goes to Czech Republic; Dana Brozkova, gold medallist yesterday, brings them into the finish.
2008-07-20 11:17:15: SWE to bronze, 3.13 down - Annika Billstam, Sofie Johansson and Helena Jansson. And SUI finish in 4th place.
2008-07-20 11:15:53: And it is RUS coming in now to silver medal position. Galina Vinogradova, Yulia Novikova and Tatiana Ryabkina. Russia's first-ever women's relay medals.
2008-07-20 11:14:35: RUS look like taking the silver medals, Tatiana Ryabkina has got away from Helena Jansson now. But SWE will have their 25th WOC women's relay medals in a row with the bronze.
2008-07-20 11:13:13: And here comes Finland to take their third relay victory in 3 years. Minna Kauppi has had a fantastic last leg, starting 3 minutes down in 5th place and now winning by more than 2 minutes.
2008-07-20 11:11:53: And Minna Kauppi enters the arena heading for the last control now.
2008-07-20 11:10:59: But we can now see that she is almost 2 controls ahead of SWE and RUS (Helena Jansson and Tatiana Ryabkina).
2008-07-20 11:10:16: But we mustn't pre-judge the issue, no news of Minna at pre-warning yet....
2008-07-20 11:09:23: The Finnish flags await the arrival of Minna Kauppi, who will be joined by team-mates Katri Lindeqvist and Merja Rantanen for the victory run-in.
2008-07-20 11:07:47: Gap is over 3 minutes, but the fight for the silver is on with RUS just 14 seconds behind SWE at the top of the hill. SUI just out of touch, 35 seconds down on the 3rd place time.
2008-07-20 11:06:26: She wasn't focussed yestwerday in the long distance, but today is quite different, that is for sure.
2008-07-20 11:05:51: But she avoided that in UKR last year and this last bit of the course doesn't look too difficult.
2008-07-20 11:05:21: So will we have last-minute nerves from Minna Kauppi as happened in the WOC in 2006 in Denmark? There she made a big mistake on one of the last legs, but recovered to win.
2008-07-20 11:03:44: And Minna Kauppi in sight before completing the last loop in the course, with a lead of more than 2 minutes.
2008-07-20 11:02:48: CZE through in 5th 4.30 down, NOR a few seconds behind again in 6th.
2008-07-20 11:01:34: NOR and CZE coming to TV point but too late to be in the medals we think, and they are losing time here too.
2008-07-20 11:00:09: Next to punch at the TV point is a bit delayed because of hesitations by the following runners near the control here. SWE 2nd 2.07 down then RUS 2.12 and SUI 2.28.
2008-07-20 10:58:29: Still waiting for the next runner at the TV point. Lea Muller lost about 2 minutes around control 8.
2008-07-20 10:57:44: 2.5 km to the finish for Minna Kauppi.
