First Title For Hausken

"Incredible! Great!" said ecstatic Anne Margrethe Hausken immediately after finishing the sprint race which took place in the centre of Olomouc.
With the time of 12:51,5 Hausken became the new World Champion, beating Finnish Minna Kauppi by 9 seconds. Since then, she did not stop talking into her mobile phone and we were not even able to make her draw her route-choices. According to Kauppi, the race was very demanding, both physically and technically. Bronze medal goes to Swedish Helena Jansson who finished 18 seconds after the winner.
